Alien Scanner working on the iPhone and several devices from Apple, he'll catch the radio signals from alien, so you can listen to foreign communications on your smartphone. Keep in mind this application is intended for entertainment purposes only.

This application was released on 20 April, 2011 by Lowell Duke team. This app is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch (4th generation), iPad 2 Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi iPad 2 + 3G, iPad (3rd generation) and iPad Wi-Fi. You can download Alien Scanner application for iPhone on IOS Store. The current version is 1.0 and it’s only available in English. This is premium application, so you have to pay $ 0.99 to download it. Then, you should use the IOS 4.0 or above, do not install this application to the version below 4.0.

Many puzzles and mysteries in the Alien Scanner application. Many questions emerged about the existence of aliens, Do alient really exist? Or it’s just false statements. If they exist, how about the form? And there are many questions that remain a mystery. The question became an inspiration. Lowell Duke team to build an application that is only intended for entertainment purposes only.

Now, this application is only available for IOS and may be available for Android. IPhone and assisted with an application that is called Alien Scanner, you can search for alien signals in the whole universe. Using a scanner radio alien signal, you will strengthen the hand movement signal, so the hand movements are very influential on the performance of this application. Your hand as an antenna that helps strengthen the signal from an alien.

To run this application very easy. Hand movements will affect the signal, reposition your hand to find a strong signal from aliens. Each time you change your hand position, this app will report the status of the search, so get a clean signal from them. If a signal is found, you have to defend the position of your hands until the decode process. So, your device will play the incoming sound.

The application did not take advantage the quality of a given technology retina iPhone. So, it was standard and nothing special on its display. How about the sound? It’s very frustrating when you do not get a good signal. But if you’ve managed to find the best signal transmission and can play the sound, it is very unusual in our opinion. Overall, this application is very standard, nothing special and has minimal features.

Alien scanner requires an additional feature that may make it easier to obtain the best signal. If you like this application and want to look for signals from aliens, download alien scanner application for iPhone here.

Ice Cream Sandwich for Motorola Moto RAZR

Ice Cream Sandwich or Motorola Moto RAZR? We have all been waiting a long time to see how the latest version of Android, the Android 4.0, also known as Ice Cream Sandwich, would look on the awesome Motorola Moto RAZR. But unless you have a leaked custom ROM already installed on it, you would not know. And if you have installed a leaked custom ROM, you would not know how the Motorola touch to Ice Cream Sandwich would look like on the device. But before all this, the wait for the official release of the Ice Cream Sandwich for the Motorola Droid RAZR was not scheduled to be any time soon.

But thanks to the newly released timeline by Motorola, the smart phone is sure to get the Ice Cream Sandwich treat before the end of June for sure, that is before the end of the second quarter. If you think, even that is a lot of delay compared to other manufacturers in releasing the Ice Cream Sandwich update. But now that it is on its way, the joy for Motorola Droid RAZR owners who have not installed any custom ROM is uncontrollable.

But how does the smart phone look after the update to Ice Cream Sandwich with the manufacturer’s Blur custom user interface on top of it? We are talking about Webtop 3.0, screenshots, the new lock screen, time lapse video, navigating around ICS, the browser, dialer, notifications, and more. Well, we seem to have got an introduction to that. The official Japanese Motorola Droid RAZR website has released a series of video on the website where it describes how the phone will function after the update to the new Ice Cream Sandwich, and also, the videos detail different features of the new operating system. A few of the videos uploaded are in Japanese, unfortunately, but a few others are in English.

So you do not have to worry about not understanding anything at all. These videos will most probably be made in other languages as well by the time the update gets ready for seeding over the air. It is just a matter of time. So, are you excited?

Facebook traffic is up 78% since Instagram

Instagram saw a extraordinary increase to its visitors between the several weeks of April and Apr thanks to information of its Operating system app introduction and purchase by Facebook or myspace. But is it possible that Instagram performs a bigger image in Facebook's said venture into the of its own smartphone?
There’s one thing that Facebook or myspace can feature in the awaken of Zynga’s getting Sketch Something: Its getting Instagram just didn't result in the app’s loss of life. In fact, Instagram’s efficiency confirms its popularity in the photographic camera app industry. ComScore has unveiled that Instagram has been the top doing Internet property with visitors improving by a huge 78% between the several weeks of April and Apr 2012. That is great an all, but what does Facebook or myspace have organized for its acquisition? And what is its actual motivation?

Note that these comScore results are not a true sign of Instagram’s efficiency, as it only takes into account the cellular app’s Web existence. While its success would be best calculated by the variety of downloading and dynamic customers, it’s obvious that a variety of high-profile reports included into April’s leap. The long anticipated introduction of its Operating system program on Apr 3 started out the overflow gateways to an untrained industry of Operating system customers. And, of course, the last-minute $1 million getting Instagram by Facebook or myspace likely assisted as well.

While Apr was a considerable 30 days, we must not anticipate the same extraordinary development in the coming months; Instagram is currently looking forward to the Government Business Commission’s research into a possible anti-trust abuse by Facebook or myspace. The problem could take up to six several weeks to take care of. Most significantly, Facebook’s statement of its own Instagram competition, Facebook or myspace Camera, could cause problems for Instagram. Plus, as our visitors have indicated, Facebook or myspace may not have Instagram’s best interest in mind. Facebook’s concentrate on its products will stay on its Camera app, while Instagram may be ignored seeing as how it was most likely a individual purchase.

So where will Facebook’s Instagram customers be leveraged? While Instagram has expanded its users list to 50 thousand customers, Facebook’s said programs to obtain Safari, and its release of an app shop and Messenger app, signs us into Facebook’s causes for Instagram. While we thought that Facebook’s Camera app release may have been inspired by its inadequate NASDAQ starting, which to an level has advantage as a PR stop, Facebook’s reasons seems to run further that.

It’s not hard to understand that the public networking is looking to give some of its primary functions into cell cellphone programs we’ve mentioned before. But here is where we get risky. It’s entirely possible that while Facebook or myspace is gradually creating its cellular experience for customers with new Facebook or myspace labeled programs and improving its product existence on cell mobile phones, the company is gradually planning for its first horizontally incorporation via the said Facebook or myspace cellphone. After Facebook or myspace has perfectly designed and produced its primary package of Facebook or myspace specialist, while at the same time keeping products such as Instagram, we could anticipate these programs to be ported over to the Facebook or myspace cellphone, and shown as Facebook’s local programs. Thanks to Instagram that could mean the prospective for 50 thousand Facebook or myspace cellphone entrepreneurs. Or there can be always the opportunity that Instagram could be wrapped by Facebook or myspace Camera, although that may be a expand.

So if our rumors have a type of advantage, we’re going to see more cellular app products by Facebook or myspace as part of a calculated move into a horizontally company. After all, in its present state, Facebook or myspace is merely a public networking. To accomplish Google’s popularity and prestige, Facebook or myspace needs to grow its company and progress from its status as just a public networking.

Tera is a massively multiplayer role-playing games

You team up with other players, fight monsters, level up, earn new gear, and so on. It is, in fact, a very traditional online fantasy adventure in most respects but one: its action. In many ways, Tera is a whole lot like other massively multiplayer role-playing games. And that action is so smooth, so immediate, and so enjoyable that it's likely to keep you invested in Tera, even as you skip from one quest to the next, ferrying messages between characters standing 20 feet from each other.

Generic questing aside, Tera is a well-executed game: it's easy on the eyes, smooth under the fingers, and remarkably stable. So what is it about the combat that makes it so good? For one, you needn't worry about choosing your target before firing off the usual barrage of sword slashes and fireballs that automatically find their mark. Instead, you hover your targeting reticle over your target and swing, or stab, or cast. Sure, some attacks are homing attacks, but generally, if you miss, you don't do any damage. For example, should you release a slow-moving blastball and the big hulk in front of you lumbers away, you're out of luck.

Tera feels more like a third-person action game than most MMOGs--you don't even need to hold a mouse button to engage mouselook. As a result, you feel connected to the action: your key presses and mouse maneuvers translate almost immediately to the screen. Yes, there are ability cooldowns, and you have to wait for animations to complete. But there is a sense of agility to the combat that's rare in the genre.

Big creatures bound around and exhale toxic fumes, while you and your adventuring party hammer on them when you aren't busy dodging, guarding, and getting into the most effective position. The biggest creatures are known as BAMs (that is, big-ass monsters), and facing one is a rush. One such monster is the ovolith, a giant spider creature that rolls across the landscape like a spinning top, bounds into the air and lands with a smash, and hammers the ground in the same way a data entry expert hammers on a keyboard.

Facing one with three or four friends is a riot. You must aim your attacks and stay alert, and you receive an indication of damage done only when your ice blast meets flesh--not before. How wonderful it is, this rare feeling that you are performing daring battlefield feats, rather than simply inputting commands and watching them play out onscreen.

It's a shame that there is an hours-long lull before you see Tera at its best. The tutorial prologue is great, in part because it starts you at level 20, gives you a few interesting abilities, and pits you against a couple of towering ogres. But when it's over, you're off to the island of newcomers, where you start from scratch at level one with a paltry couple of skills. From here, you're sent on a series of quests that can politely be called "standard," though "monotonous" is a better term. Most RPGs have you going off to kill stuff, collect stuff, and pass on information to those who need it, of course. But varied pacing, strong mission dialogue, and other contextual elements can make for fun, diverse questing. Sadly, Tera's quests are as dry as its own Shara Desert.

Every outpost is having some kind of problem with local creatures. Someone has always gone missing, and you have to go find them. Quest givers want you to take information to people standing within earshot. It's all so very tired. There is a story tying all of it together, starting with a demon invasion and the search for a missing war hero. The writing isn't on Fallen Earth or Age of Conan levels of excellence, nor will you shape the story as you play in the style of Star Wars: The Old Republic. Yet developer BlueHole Studio tries to sweep you up in the process, punctuating certain story quests with excellent real-time cutscenes featuring your own character.

Story arcs often culminate in instanced battles, with you and maybe your teammates fending off a sequence of attackers, or taking on a nasty boss demon. These sequences do a great job of keeping the mundane side quests from wearing on you. Considering the blandness of the quests, Tera keeps you involved in the proceedings. Of course, much of this has to do with the combat. But the world design can take much of that credit. Granted, there's a certain inconsistency to the Tera universe.

You can play as a horned, ferocious-looking Castanic, or as a hypercute foxgirl from the Elin race. The noble flesh mountains known as the Baraka cut impressive figures--particularly when standing next to a Popori, which looks like a portly panda. This bizarre and eclectic mix of fantasy figures comes across as disjointed at first, but it ultimately comes together. That's at least in part because the character diversity is matched by environmental diversity. The tropical landscapes at Cutthroat Harbor couldn't be more different from the enchanted city of Pora Elinu.

'Cisco' Requires Its Mounds, Keeps Creating Movie Conference Tools

Cisco Techniques possessed up to some miscalculations in its video cooperation technique but revealed off some ensuring upcoming abilities in a briefing with press this weeks time. The organization's video meeting company is best known for its TelePresence Conference Techniques, especially the high-profile three-screen meeting locations offering Cisco-designed fixtures and price tons of money. But 'cisco' is now looking beyond those trendy conditions toward cellular phones that can carry video events to members wherever they are.

One foundation developed as aspect of that technique, the organization's Android-based Cius product, has been cut from upcoming growth programs, said Robert O'Sullivan, mature v. p. and gm of the Collaboration Technological innovation Team, during the briefing at 'cisco' on Friday mid-day. 'cisco' mentioned the shift in a short article later on Friday. The Cius will still be available for organizations that particularly want a program released and firmly managed by the IT division, but 'cisco' won't be developing more type aspects for the foundation, O'Sullivan said.

Cisco now recognizes most organizations let workers carry their own pills to perform, stating its own study that said 95 % of organizations have a BYOD (bring your own device) plan.

"When we discuss to them about the Cius product, they say, we really like the cooperation encounter on Cius, but can you please take that program and put it on other devices?" O'Sullivan said.

"Our way of the long run is all about program," O'Sullivan said.

The next section in that force is a new customer for Jabber, Cisco's speech, video, instant-messaging and existence foundation, arriving September. Jabber customers are already available for Apple company iOS and for Analysis In Motion's BlackBerry foundation, as well as Microsoft windows PCs, and will soon come out for common Operating program pills, he said.

The new Jabber customer will allow customers to take video calling on PCs, pills and 'cisco' TelePresence systems and exchange the calling from one foundation to another. 'cisco' APIs (application coding interfaces) allow Jabber features to be incorporated into Ms Perspective so customers can discover associates and begin Jabber calling from Perspective, and this incorporation will be extended in the new editions.

At the briefing, 'cisco' confirmed Jabber classes being shifted among different systems. It also revealed customers of third-party video conferencing systems, such as Ms Lync and a Polycom HDX program, becoming complete members in a 'cisco' TelePresence meeting. Cisco's addition of industry requirements such as SIP (Session Start Protocol), H.323 and H.264 create this possible, the organization said.

The full-scale TelePresence foundation is still walking ahead despite the new focus on providing in different customers. And real-time interpretation of telepresence events is returning on Cisco's map. In overdue 2008, 'cisco' video primary Marthin De Alcohol said that he predicted that function to go available with 20 dialects in the second 50 % of 2009. But a season later, 'cisco' said the body precision wasn't great enough and the organization didn't even have a prediction for when it would go available.

Cisco is still operating on it, said De Alcohol, now mature v. p. of Cisco's Movie and Collaboration Team.

"It's arriving along. It's not quite real-time yet," De Alcohol said. "It's a little bit too costly still to do that and the technology's not ... mastered enough." But De Alcohol once again desires the function to be over the counter available within a season or two. 'cisco' does provide interpretation of a registered meeting within a few moments, he said.

The 'cisco' TelePresence systems already set up in organizations are being used about six time per day on regular, De Alcohol said. But new cellular video alternatives may be injuring another company 'cisco' once marketed as a big prospective industry, of video conferencing packages for lease in resorts and air-ports, he said.

"It is being used. It has not gone persistent, it has not gone big," De Alcohol said. "We've marketed probably a large number of systems in that area." The Marriott resort cycle has set up packages in several of its places, he said. But the accommodations, which in some situations were costing 100's of money hourly, may not be necessary down the line. "Now that video becomes persistent on your iPad, on your mobile phone and your PC, maybe that use situation will actually reduce," De Alcohol said.

IBM Restrictions Siri Over Protection Concerns

IBM has triggered a mix by prohibiting Siri from personnel iPhones. The organization statements that it is worried that Siri will flow private details and has incapable it on personnel iPhones. The purpose for IBM's issue is the way that Siri performs. The iPhone 4S's voice-recognition function performs by producing your speech and submitting it to a hosting server that thinks what you've said and profits simply textual content. Siri actually becomes better at converting because it successfully crowd-sources 'languages', studying from other individuals who are using the assistance.

It's the truth that this producing of what you said is sent to Apple's hosting server that IBM isn't satisfied about. The concept that Apple company could be gathering details about IBM tricks seems a bit farfetched, however, it is believed that Siri may lately have knowledgeable a burglar violation. United states discuss display coordinator Hurry Limbaugh described a specialized issue with his iPhone and Apple's Siri speech associate, knowledgeable on his generate to perform, there is some controversy as to whether this was individual mistake, or if Siri was compromised.

IBM is an recommend of BYOD (bring your own device) - a pattern that recognizes organizations enabling their personnel to use their own Apples, PCs, cellular phones, and pills at perform. According to analysis, BYOD has already been accepted by 69% of UK organizations.

The Siri ban is just one of a variety of demanding safety actions applied by IBM on gadgets purchased into the organization by workers. According to Conspiracy of Mac, IBM harnesses the cellular phone control (MDM) structure designed into iOS to eliminate Siri on every iPhone 4S.

Samsung Galaxy S III comes beginning for some

Samsung’s Galaxy S III is not predicted to begin to show up with willing new customers until almost through next weeks time at the first, but it looks like some suppliers have hopped the gun. A SlashGear audience in Japan handled to catch not one but two Galaxy S III mobile phones, and distributed a few images of his new toys and games that he took using the Samsung’s 8-megapixel photographic camera itself.
As guaranteed, part of the Galaxy S III installation process contains getting a Dropbox account with a substantial slice of no cost storage: 48GB no cost, on top of the 2GB the reasoning store service contains as conventional. That is incorporated through Samsung’s personalized Ice Lotion Food develop, though as opposed to the Galaxy Nexus the Galaxy S III does have a microSD card position for including extra local storage space.

Announced at the top end of the 30 days, the Galaxy S III has already seen pre-orders calculating in the “thousands” according to New Samsung. Sales will begin in European countries first, with the US gadgets – operating a Qualcomm dual-core processor with LTE rather than the Exynos quadcore combined with the HSPA+ editions – predicted to fall over summer time season.

Review: Asus All-in-One PC ET2700INKS

The good: The Asus ET2700I is unique for its 27-inch display, a fast Core i7 GPU, and a discrete Nvidia graphics chip.
The bad: Like other 27-inch Windows all-in-ones, the Asus' 1080p resolution hurts its appeal next to the higher-resolution 27-inch iMac.
The bottom line: The Asus ET2700I will meet the needs of anyone searching for a fast, large-screen all-in-one for mainstream home entertainment and general-purpose productivity.
Review: Asus All-in-One PC ET2700INKS
Review: Asus All-in-One PC ET2700INKS
HP debuted the first 27-inch Windows all-in-one earlier this year. Now Asus follows suit with its ET2700I. Like HP, Asus charges a reasonable premium for its large display, asking $1,399 for a system that might otherwise cost around $1,000 with the same components and a 24-inch LCD. None of these 27-inchers has the same high resolution as Apple's large iMacs, making them a better fit as home entertainment PCs than productivity workstations. Should you choose the Asus system over the HP? If overall performance and budget gaming capability are important to you, yes.

Asus offers a few different versions of the 27-inch ET2700I. This one is the most expensive, thanks to its Core i7 CPU, a discrete Nvidia graphics card, a Blu-ray drive and a standalone subwoofer unit that plugs into the side of the system.

I haven't seen an all-in-one with a breakout subwoofer before. It seems like a reasonable way to differentiate the system, but the effort is marred by underpowered hardware. Asus sends power and the audio signal to the sub via a single audio cable. The unit provides a slight boost to the bass output, but even at max volume and all of the various software effects enabled, the audio isn't what you would call room-filling. At the higher volume levels, the output also lost some integrity.

Cheap subwoofer aside, the 27-inch screen is the highlight of the ET2700I. The resolution tops out at 1,920x1,080 pixels. That's plenty for most non-professional users, and movies, games, and other media content will look great. You might be disappointed if you want a giant screen to cram full of open windows for multitasking. Professional digital image editors and others will also likely prefer the 27-inch iMac's denser 2,560x1,440-pixel resolution.

Also note that the ET2700I does not have a touch screen. Multiple PC vendors have told me that getting touch on a 27-inch display is prohibitively expensive. That didn't stop Lenovo and others from exhibiting touch-enabled 27-inchers at this year's CES, but whether those systems actually come to market here in the United States is another question.

It's worth noting that without touch, upgrading to Windows 8 later this year might feel rather pointless. How that might factor in to your present-day buying decision depends on what you think of Microsoft's ability to spur the development of compelling touch applications. For this system today, I expect most potential buyers won't find the lack of touch a deal killer. Get the full article >>>

Best Buy Canada release of the Galaxy S III

Jitters have persisted that the Canadian release of the Galaxy S III might face the customary weeks-long delays that those north of the border are used to. If we go by what looks to be an escaped Best Buy Canada flyer graphic, Samsung's Android 4.0 beast should be going up for pre-orders soon - MobileSyrup hears May 30th - with launches on at least Bell, Rogers, Telus and a Bell-owned Virgin Mobile around June 20th. We know that Samsung has publicly promised a US release in June, so there's a real chance that we could be seeing a simultaneous North American appearance that brings everyone together in TouchWiz harmony.

There's still some big questions left open even if we're seeing an accurate snapshot, such as when Mobilicity, Wind and other LTE-less carriers will get their units as well as whether or not the LTE versions use Snapdragons instead of the Exynos 4 Quad.

See the Disney Pixar Adventure at Xbox 360

A Disney Pixar Adventure is fun and exhausting! Players enter a virtual amusement park where they will find five themed adventures based on some of the most popular Disney/Pixar movies – The Incredibles, Toy Story, Cars, Ratatouille and Up – making the game instantly playable.

First up, this game is obviously aimed at the younger generation – anyone between six- and 12-years-old will absolutely love it and will be kept busy for hours. Anyone older will also have fun, but will soon be exhausted, except for divorced dads and stepfathers, who will forge ahead regardless.

At the beginning, players are guided through a process whereby their avatar is created. They then head off to the theme park, where they are met by a bunch of young friends who guide and encourage them to go on the various rides.

The Incredibles takes the player to the island in the film where they are tasked with rescuing damsels or destroying giant robots and the like. By waving their arms and moving their legs, players are propelled along a linear path where they can gather coins and complete clearly highlighted tasks, some of which include throwing huge concrete blocks at windows. Show me a 10-year-old boy who wouldn't be thrilled!

This particular chapter also has a free-fall scenario that's fast and fun! In Ratatouille, the player is obviously a rat that gets to scurry about and rescue fellow rats, do some serious balancing acts and slide down roofs at rat-neck-breaking speeds.

One thing about this game is that it is very polished. The graphics are beautiful and true to the films. Even watching someone playing is a pleasure. The gameplay is linear and fairly obvious, and the player is given a companion to lead the way and to encourage or give hints on how to complete puzzles or scenarios.

At any time, a second player can jump right into the action by simply waving an arm. Of course this means that if the second player is seated behind the first player, he or she better sit still – or risk getting shouted at.

I have to give this game a perfect score; it's superbly made, a lot of fun to play and watch, and I believe it will have a very long shelf life. As for the time it will take to complete, that's a tough one; many of the scenes are fairly short, but are more fun the second or third time around, and as players get better at the gestures, they go faster and score higher points. This, in turn, unlocks special features and extra levels. There are three “stages” for every game, so expect to play this for a long time.

Refund for the purchase of the Xbox 360 version of Minecraft

Microsoft is offering one of the most radical appeasements that any video game company can possibly offer – a refund for a digitally downloaded title. Anyone who purchased the Xbox 360 version of Minecraft and doesn’t own an HDTV is eligible to receive a full refund. That’s because one of the game’s key selling points doesn’t work unless you’re using a high-def set.
Apparently the development offices didn’t have any old-school TVs in their testing labs. But even though Microsoft never realized it, it didn’t take long for gamers to complain that anyone with a standard-definition TV was not able to enable the split-screen multiplayer feature. As Minecraft has risen to epic popularity as a solely single-player endeavor, the addition of a multiplayer component was one of the most significant aspects to the Xbox 360 version.

A Microsoft spokesperson was quoted as saying, “We updated our pre-sale notification to inform customers that an HD screen is required for the split-screen multiplayer feature on Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition. If a player does not have an HD screen and purchased this game prior to the notification update, they are eligible for a full refund through customer support.” The game sells for 1600 Microsoft Points, or $20.

Look Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1

When Samsung announced that some of their devices will not be getting the much awaited Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, they announced that those devices will instead be getting a “Value Pack” upgrade instead. The “Value Pack” upgrade will bring owners of the devices some features of Android 4.0 while not actually being a full Android 4.0 update but we guess something is better than nothing, right? Not to mention with the strong Android community out there, it shouldn’t be too hard to find Android 4.0 ROMs for the affected devices.

In any case one of Samsung’s tablets that will not receive the Android 3.2 or Android 4.0 update is the original 7” Galaxy Tab. The tablet is currently running on Android 2.3 Gingerbread and the Value Pack is expected to bring features such as Face Unlock, a Photo Editor app along with the ability to snap photos while recording video. At the moment the Value Pack upgrade is headed for Galaxy Tab devices in Korea but we expect the international version to be made available soon.

Samsung Canada has finished porting Ice Cream Sandwich to a whole bunch of devices, which in Samsung press release parlance means they are "eligible" for an upgrade. Does that mean you can hit that "update" button today and start downloading ICS? Well, that's complicated.

First though, the list of devices:
  1. GALAXY S II
  2. GALAXY S II LTE
  3. GALAXY S II LTE HD
  4. GALAXY S II X

Now, for the caveats: Sammy says "The upgrade will be available today on select devices in Canada and will continue rolling out to devices and carriers throughout the quarter." and "The availability of the software upgrade and specific models upgradable to Android 4.0 will vary by market and wireless carriers' requirements.

It seems that Samsung Electronics is partnering up with Kia Motors to equip the new vehicle K9 with the Samsung’s Galaxy Tab 10.1. The two companies intend to provide a special edition of the Tab for those that pre-order the soon to be released K9 sedan by June.

Essentially, the Tab will play a role that allows it to be used as a quick guide to the vehicle’s functions and, presumably, will integrate into features such as the multimedia component of the new vehicle model. This synergy between mobile devices, like the tab, and today’s automobiles is clearly just the beginning of a wider trend. It is only a matter of time before every car that comes out has extended features and guides provided through syncing up your favorite tablet device, I’d wager. This joint synergy between smart cars and smart devices like tablets will likely also bleed into improved interfaces in the car of the future. It’s interesting to see Samsung and Kia working together, and I’m sure this is just the beginning of big things to come.

Sony Ericsson Xperia Play News

An all new update has hit the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play devices which is dubbed as 4.0.2.E.0.57, don’t get confused with the firmware version which starts with 4.0.2 with that of an ICS update as this update which is officially pushed via OTA is not an ICS update and is a Gingerbread update of 2.3.4 version. (This is a preview of the article from Android Advices Click on the Title to read the entire entry.)

Upon its debut, the Xperia Play suffered from a lack of game titles that were compatible with its unique built-in gamepad. While the selection has improved considerably since its inception, the question remains: wouldn't it be nice if the handset supported any Android game you threw at it? Wonder no longer, because that's exactly what GameKeyboard 2.0 brings to the table.

Yes, the app requires root access, but most importantly, it allows users to map on-screen touch controllers to the Xperia Play's physical gamepad. While it's slightly cumbersome to setup for the first time, anybody who has ever configured an emulator with a USB game controller will feel right at home. GameKeyboard 2.0 sells for $2.49 in the Play Store, and if you'd like a quick overview of how it all works, just hop the break for a video. Those who proceed with the download will also benefit from written instructions (for both root access and configuration) in the xda-developers forums.

Xperia-Play I know, I know. 4.0.2 sounds a lot like Android 4.0, but it isn't. It's actually Gingerbread 2.3.4, and Verizon Xperia Play owners who wish to rock out like it's May 2011 need only mash the update button.

The good news (in addition to the version bump) is that this update will let you take pictures with the right trigger (how did they not think of that earlier?), enable 720p video with continuous autofocus, and fix those crazy bugs like charging forcing landscape mode. You also get to take screenshots with the power button. The bad news is that it will install Verizon Video on Demand and Verizon Navigator.
